Artist in Residence

Sanctuary Glass School announces 2020 artist in residency

The Sanctuary Glass School's Artist-in-Residence is open to all glass artists from around the United States. The selected artist will spend two weeks in the School's studio developing a body of work, which will help the artist expand their knowledge of the art form and allow them to share their talents with artists in our community. During the residency the selected artist will conduct two classes for our emerging artists and give several artist talks and may give a demonstration. At the end of the residency the artist will present their work in a gallery exhibition. This is for glass blowing or hot sculpting artists. We do not have a kiln program.

Room and board and airfare or travel reimbursement will be provided as will a stipend for food.

The residency will take place May 25th through June 8, 2020. Only one artist will be selected for 2020.

To learn more about our school and studio to to sanctuaryartsschool.org and sanctuaryglassstudio.com. We except applications from anyone with or without a degree in glass. We are also on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sanctuaryartsschool and www.facebook.com/sanctuaryglassstudio.

We welcome all people no matter what their economic situation, race, sexual orientation, sex, religion, age, disability, marital status or political affiliation.
